Giants quarterback Eli Manning injured his heel during Sunday's 27-16 win over Kansas City.
While dropping back for a pass in the fourth quarter, Manning seemed to hurt his foot area and was in clear pain. He managed to get the pass off to Hakeem Nicks, who took it 54 yards for a touchdown.
"Anytime you feel like you have a little pull or strain, especially down there, you get nervous," said Manning. "You don't know what it is. You kind of feel like it's an Achilles or something. But it wasn't that. I kind of knew right away. I could stand up. I could still walk around and put some pressure on it."
David Carr came in at quarterback on New York's next possession, and the Giants said they will wait until Monday to see how Manning feels before making any decisions.
