The Jets might have to wait a little longer to unveil their new 1-2 receiving punch.
Jerricho Cotchery didn’t practice for the second consecutive day because of a hamstring injury and is listed as questionable to play in Monday night’s game against the Dolphins.
The Jets traded for Braylon Edwards earlier this week and hoped to pair him with Cotchery to give rookie QB Mark Sanchez two top-notch targets. Coach Rex Ryan said Friday that there was a “definite possibility” that Cotchery wouldn’t play against the Dolphins, but he hoped that wasn’t the case.
