Shanahan said Isaac Guerendo (hamstring) was trending well and is expected to practice this week.

Fantasy Impact:

The Niners play on Monday night at home against the Lions. So those waiting on Guerendo may want to have a backup plan. Hopefully owners will get more information about his status well before that. He should be in line for a big workload, if he plays, just given his draft capital and past usage as the team's now RB1. Samuel would likely get some carries as well.

SF RB Isaac Guerendo - Week 14 Fantasy Football Outlook

Week 14 vs. Chicago Bears

It's now Isaac Guerendo's backfield in San Francisco after both Christian McCaffrey and Jordan Mason were injured in Buffalo last week. Guerendo has averaged 4.7 yards per carry this season and does have a 99-yard outing back in Week 6 against the Seahawks. Guerendo is certainly worth looking at this week in a favorable matchup against the Bears, who rank 25th against the run and are allowing almost five yards per carry. Guerendo has RB2 upside this week.
