Carolina Panthers (3-4-1) running back DeAngelo Williams had a "good" practice on Tuesday coach Ron Rivera said and because of that, he will get the start for the Panthers Thursday night against the New Orleans Saints (3-4), per NFL Network.
Williams missed the last four games due to a lingering ankle injury. Williams will split carries with Jonathan Stewart, who started last week for the Panthers against the Seahawks and finished with 79 rushing yards and hauled in three passes for 15 yards.
Fantasy Impact:
His return kills the value of Jonathan Stewart, though they are both decent flex/RB3-type starts during the Week 9 Byepocalypse in a nice matchup with the Saints.
