Patriot options at running back

Joey Iosefa left his mark in New England's Sunday afternoon win over Tennessee, lowering his shoulder into Tennessee's Cody Sensabaugh and driving through the 187-pound cornerback en route to a 15-yard gain.

It was a highlight play in a game that was otherwise devoid of exciting football. It was the memorable moment in a fine debut for Iosefa, who carried 14 times for a team-high 51 yards.

It does not mean the Patriots are set to roll into the playoffs with a backfield of Iosefa, Brandon Bolden and James White.

Fantasy Impact:

The story said, based on what we saw Sunday, Iosefa is a straightforward runner with virtually no wiggle. The piece also called Bolden "a backup," which falls right in line with how the Pats use him - many different roles but he never really keeps one. James White is a third down back. The story speculates the team could sign Steven Jackson or give Montee Ball a chance, so this is something to monitor this week.
