Rams sign RB Royce Freeman to roster, Darrell Henerson to PS

The Rams signed RB Darrell Henderson to the practice squad. They also signed Royce Freeman to the active roster.

Related players: Kyren Williams, Ronnie Rivers, Zach Evans

Fantasy Impact:

Freeman will likely split time with Evans this week, who is rumored to be the starter in Week 7 with Williams unlikely to play and Rivers out. Henderson could stick around for a while as Rivers is expected to miss 4-5 weeks and could be an IR candidate. The Rams are hoping Williams misses a week at most so there could be more RB shuffling over the next week in LA.

This puts Schoonmaker more or less in TE streaming consideration, but there are far better options this week, which puts him low on the totem pole.

Eagles WR DeVonta Smith officially Out for Week 12

Eagles ruled out WR DeVonta Smith (hamstring) for Sunday against the Rams.

Fantasy Impact:

It's a bit of a crapshoot as to who the "WR2" on the offense will be, but now that he's ruled out, Brown and Goedert should get a nice boost to their bottom line. That would lock Goedert into a no-doubt TE1 role in Week 12.
