A day after losing Isaiah Crowell to the New York Jets, the Cleveland Browns are bringing in former 49er Carlos Hyde. According to Ian Rapoport, it's a three-year deal worth over $15 million.
Fantasy Impact:
Thanks to catching 59 passes, Hyde was the No. 8 fantasy scoring back last season in PPR leagues. He has yet to crack 1,000 yards rushing, but thanks to his receptions and touchdowns (86 catches and 17 total touchdowns) the last two seasons, Hyde has been a fantasy relevant RB. He could provide useful yet again this season, but with Duke Johnson on the team, and the possible drafting of Saquon Barkley, the touches may be limited in an RBBC situation.
