At Andy Reid's Monday press conference, he twice mentioned that Eagles QB Mike Vick had a "significant" concussion, and that it was unlikely he'd be back for Wednesday's practice. Reid said Vick is suffering from headaches.
It seems like a pretty safe bet rookie QB Nick Foles will get the start this week in Washington, in what's a pretty decent matchup. It would be his first start in the NFL. Foles was up and down, to say the least, in relief of Vick against the Cowboys. He's going to make his share of mistakes and in his defense he's got a terrible line protecting him. The good news is he does have some weapons to work with, and the Birds should likely turn to more of a running attack with LeSean McCoy, mixing in quicker, shorter passes, to take the pressure off of Foles.
