Oakland Raiders cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha is expected to be sidelined about two weeks with a chipped bone in his left wrist, according to a team source.
Missing the time now will not be the issue. Just how debilitating the injury is will be a major concern throughout the season, however.
Asomugha is the top bump-and-run cornerback in the league. If his wrist is bothering him, it's going to be more challenging for Asomugha to grab wide receivers at the line of scrimmage.
