Minnesota Vikings running back Dalvin Cook is expected to play tonight against the Pittsburgh Steelers

Cook was expected to be sidelined until Week 15 but has made a rapid recovery. Cook appears to have healed enough to play and is awaiting final clearance from the team's medical staff ahead of tonight's contest. Alexander Mattison will go back to a reserve role but could see a larger workload than normal if the team chooses to limit Cook's snaps. This is a situation to monitor as it will affect the fantasy value of Mattison as well as Cook for Week 14.

Vikings WR Adam Thielen (ankle) will not play Week 14 against the Pittsburgh Steelers. RB Dalvin Cook (shoulder) is questionable.

The short week was going to keep Thielen out. While Obsorn is expected to start in Thielen's place, do not be surprised if Tyler Conklin gets more run.

Cook, of course, is dealing with a shoulder injury. He was listed as DNP Monday so this is a potential trend in the right direction for Thursday's game with Pittsburgh, but owners probably shouldn't get hopes up just yet. If Cook can't go, it would mean an RB1-type workload for Mattison. Meanwhile, Thielen didn't practice for the second-straight day meaning his status continues to not look good on the short week as he's dealing with his ankle injury. Reports say he's not expected to play, so it should be another big day for Justin Jefferson with Conklin and Osborn also getting more looks.

Minnesota’s Monday injury report was an estimate, but running back Dalvin Cook is again listed as a non-participant with his shoulder injury. Cook’s shoulder issue kept him out of Sunday’s game.

And after suffering an ankle injury early in Sunday’s contest, receiver Adam Thielen wouldn’t have practiced either.

The Vikings host the Steelers in a key game for both teams on Thursday night. Mattison will get the start at RB if Cook can't play while Justin Jefferson had a huge day in Week 13 when Thielen left the game.

After receiving a limited practice on Friday, Cooks is on track to return Sunday against the Colts. The Texans are also expecting the return of Chris Conley as well as the addition of newly signed Phillip Dorsett for Sunday's game.

Danny Amendola has been ruled out due to a knee injury which will open up targets for Cooks in a underdog setting.

Texans WR Danny Amendola (knee) is out Week 13, while WRs Brandin Cooks (illness), Chris Conley (illness), and RB David Johnson (illness/thigh) are questionable.

Good news for the Cowboys, especially with Lamb and the news Cooper may have to miss Thursday's game because of COVID symptoms. Machota pointed out the Cowboys WRs vs. Saints could be Lamb, Gallup, Brown, Turner and Fehoko.

Cowboys WR Amari Cooper (COVID-19) is back in building but "still not feeling the best," coach Mike McCarthy said. Still has a cough. "To be determined" whether he'll practice today. "My gut would be if he doesn't practice tomorrow, I don't see him going to the game."

Cooper is not vaccinated and still has symptoms. He was required to miss two games over a 10-day period but because he's still not feeling well he could miss a third game as a result. With Lamb back in the fold after a concussion, he would likely be the team's WR1. Gallup is more of a big play threat while Wilson could be more of a WR2-type with Brown also mixing in.

Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said the team expects Ezekiel Elliott to have a serious load against New Orleans.
No rest for Zeke.

Last week there was talk of the team shutting down Zeke because of a knee injury. However, Elliott practiced fully on Monday which was a sign the team wasn't easing up on him heading into Week 13. However, with an obvious knee issue and a great option in Pollard, it's hard to imagine Pollard won't be involved, at least as much as he has been. Over the last three weeks, Pollard has touched the ball 17, 9 and then 14 times this past week on Thanksgiving.
