Tom Pelissero of NFL Media reports that Arizona plans to sign Matt Ammendola to their practice squad. Ammendola kicked for the Chiefs in Weeks 2 and 3, but was cut by Kansas City last week.

The Cardinals didn’t have Prater available at the end of Sunday’s win over the Panthers because of a hip injury, so they signed Ammendola to possibly take his place in Week 5 if he’s not well enough to play, the story said.

Cardinals ruled out WR AJ Green for Sunday’s game versus the Panthers due to a hamstring injury and are listing WRs Marquise Brown (foot) and Rondale Moore (hamstring) as questionable.

Greg Dortch has become a surprising name to emerge in fantasy circles as Arizona deals with injuries and the DeAndre Hopkins suspension. The 24-year-old has racked up 23 targets through three weeks and can still be considered a WR3 regardless of Randale Moore's status.

Wide receiver Rondale Moore could be back in the lineup for the Cardinals this week.

Moore has missed the first three games of the year after hurting his hamstring days before the season opener, but he has taken a big step toward returning to action. Moore took part in practice on Wednesday for the first time since his injury.

Word from the team on his participation level will come later in the day, the story said, but any work is obviously a move in the right direction for a Cardinals team that has struggled to put points on the board outside of a strong finish against the Raiders in Week 2. Owners will need to monitor the situation as Moore could end up on a pitch count if he does play in Week 4. His return could affect Dortch's usage.

Kingsbury said Hollywood Brown just had a rest day. That was the case for most guys sitting.

Conner is dealing with an ankle injury. In Week 1, Benjamin was the team's RB2 but in Week 2 Williams and Benjamin essentially split the workload, each getting 8 carries. It was Williams, however, who recorded 59 yards and also scored a TD. Conner looks on track to play in Week 3 but the situation is worth monitoring.

Sophomore WR Rondale Moore is one of a handful of players who have already been ruled out for Sunday's contest.

Kyler Murray's skill position group will be limited once again, as the 3-WR set appears to be Marquise Brown, Greg Dortch, and A.J. Green. Though Greg Dortch was a pleasant surprise in Week 1, Green's 0.42 yards per route run ranked 84th out of 89 qualifying wide receivers.

Interior offensive lineman joins Rondale Moore in the Out category, while veteran Zach Ertz is questionable heading into Sunday.

This doesn't look good for Kyler Murray coming out of the gate, going against an explosive Chiefs offense on the other sideline. Marquise Brown and A.J. Green may join James Conner as being the focal point of the Cardinals offense.

It's Eno Benjamin *or* Darrel Williams taking over No. 2 RB duties behind James Conner.

Some who follow the team have said Williams didn't really stand out in camp and win the job as the RB2. Benjamin was expected to take the next step entering his second season, so it's just confusing for fantasy owners as far as what exactly the situation is for their Conner handcuff. It's perhaps more of a reflection that neither back stood out. For what it's worth, we're listing Benjamin as the team's RB2.

Tyler Johnson was claimed by the Houston Texans on Wednesday, one day after being cut by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Johnson lands in an interesting spot in Houston. The WRs are led by Cooks and Collins, but Johnson could easily slip right into the WR3 role once he's acclimated.

After two seasons in Jacksonville, Laviska Shenault has been shipped over to the Panthers. Exact trade details have not been released yet.

The 2021 season would prove to be more productive than Shenault's rookie season, but most of his usage came close to the line of scrimmage, as his 5.5 average depth of target will attest to. He may be more of a threat to Christian McCaffrey's pass game usage than a significant threat to any of the wide receivers. If anything, this provides another weapon for Baker Mayfield, who is currently ranked as 4for4's QB24.
