Detroit Lions running back D'Andre Swift missed Thursday's practice with a shoulder injury.

Swift missed Week 13 with the shoulder injury and will need to practice in some fashion on Friday to avoid being ruled out for this weekend's contest against the Denver Broncos. There was some optimism that Swift may be able to return for Week 14, but the flu bug in the facility has modified practice plans enough that Friday will be the team's only day of 'normal' practice. If Swift is ruled out, Jamaal Williams will be a solid RB2 option. Williams is currently our 24th ranked running back for Week 14.

Wide receiver Keenan Allen may not be available for the Chargers’ Week 14 home game against the Giants.

Field Yates of ESPN reports that Allen has been placed on the COVID-19 reserve list.

If Allen is vaccinated, he will be able to return after two negative tests taken 24 hours apart or after a 10-day isolation period. If unvaccinated, he’s out for 10 days for a positive test or five days if he’s a close contact to someone who tested positive.

Seattle's backfield has been absolutely decimated and will hand Peterson a workload despite being on the Seahawks' roster for less than a week. The three active running backs from Week 12 are all currently questionable: Alex Collins (core), Rashaad Penny (hamstring), and Travis Homer (calf).

Depending on the availability of each member of this backfield, the Seahawks will take a committee approach. For a struggling offensive unit facing a top defense in the San Francisco 49ers, it's a situation to avoid.

Robinson has missed multiple weeks while Kmet popped on the injury report today. Both are worth monitoring ahead of a difficult matchup against the Arizona Cardinals.

Owners should probably prepare to be without Swift in Week 13. Williams is recently back from injury himself but carried the load after Swift went down on Thanksgiving. The rookie Jefferson should also be involved.
