Colts TE Mo Alie-Cox is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Baltimore Ravens, according to the team's official injury report.

MAC should see plenty of action with the Colts' receiving corps in disarray. Alie-Cox would be firmly entrenched in TE2 territory with the lack of talent at tight end this season.

Colts running back Jonathan Taylor will practice Wednesday.

Taylor's ankle injury must not be severe if he is already back at practice today. More concerning is Taylor's usage, as teammate Jordan Wilkins got the vast majoirty of the Colts' running back carries in Week 8, and Nyheim Hines continues to occupy the passing-game role out of the backfield. Taylor is looking like a risky flex play as the season moves forward.

Frank Reich acknowledges that starting RB Jonathan Taylor has "a little bit of an ankle injury."

Keefer pointed out it didn't come up until after the win. Keefer added, if needed, Wilkens has proven he's ready to go. Wilkens finished with a 20-89-1 line and added a catch for 24 yards. Hines played a huge role in the passing game with a line of 3-54-2. Taylor owners may want to try and get Wilkens off the wire this week in case the Taylor injury lingers.

Cox's potential return would make the tight end snap distribution murky again for the Colts. Burton has been great since returning from IR, and Cox had his best game of his career a few weeks back. Sunday's inactives will determine how to use any of the trio.

The Colts have been pleased with the progress Jonathan Taylor’s made since Marlon Mack’s injury threw him headlong into the fire.

“He’s done everything that he needs to do,” Indianapolis running backs coach Tom Rathman said. “It’s just about getting experience. The more he gets, the better he’s going to be.”

Taylor's numbers have been pretty good the past four games the author pointed out. The rookie is the one keeping the rushing attack afloat right now, according to the story. Taylor has rushed 54 times for 244 yards over the past four games, a 4.5-per-carry average that dwarfs the rest of the running game. Over the same four-game span, backups Jordan Wilkins and Nyheim Hines have produced just 107 yards on 39 carries, an ugly 2.7 yards per carry. Despite fumbling issues in college and not being known as a pass catcher, Taylor hasn't fumbled this season and is third on the team in receptions.
