The Ravens have declared Joe Flacco (hip) out for Week 12 and named Lamar Jackson as their starter.

Jackson had a solid first start from a fantasy perspective last week against the Bengals, scoring 15.7 points. It won't get any tougher this week against the Raiders and their bottom-of-the-barrel defense. For the matchup, Jackson is a top-15 option at the position.

Jackson wasn't impressive throwing the ball, throwing for 150 yards and an interception. But, he did run 27 times for 117 yards. Looks like Jackson will get another start in Week 12 against the Raiders.

While the #Ravens have kept their QB plan secret, Baltimore players expect Lamar Jackson to see a majority of snaps Sunday vs. #Bengals ... Highly unlikely Joe Flacco plays, but my understanding is no hip surgery needed. Should be ready in week or two.

The Bengals are just 25th in aFPA to QBs this season, making Jackson a viable streaming option with his dynamic rushing ability. His floor is still a QB2 though in his first meaningful game.

The conventional wisdom says Lamar Jackson will get the nod, perhaps with Robert Griffin III getting some work also. Until the Ravens actually announce anything, we are working on speculation, though, so keep an ear to the ground this weekend. If Jackson does start, there is QB2 appeal with some upside in the event he busts a long run. Jackson's ability to gain yards on the ground should also give him a higher floor than one might think. His presence would be a boon to Alex Collins, who would likely see more carries and a higher level of efficiency as dual-threat quarterbacks traditionally help running backs. At wide receiver and tight end, all options would see at least some hit to their outlook. As meh as Flacco is, Jackson is still quite raw and wildly inaccurate at times. The likes of John Brown and Michael Crabtree will have bottom basement floor, but, especially with Brown, they are but one big play from Jackson away from having a good week.

Lamar Jackson missed practice today with a stomach bug. Joe Flacco also sat out with his ongoing hip issue. The Ravens have yet to announce a starter for Week 11.

At this point, the only one of the three truly worth considering for your lineup may be Lamar Jackson. But with Jackson missing today's session, our guess is Robert Griffin III becomes even more likely to get the call if Flacco can't go.
