Chiefs RB Clyde Edwards-Helaire (illness, questionable) missed practice again Friday and is questionable for Week 13. CEH has a stomach virus but is expected to play per HC Andy Reid. If he can't play, Le'Veon Bell would vault up the rankings into high-end RB2 territory.

Chiefs RB Clyde Edwards-Helaire is questionable for Sunday's game against the Denver Broncos, according to Adam Teicher of ESPN. Chiefs head coach Andy Reid told reporters earlier that CEH is expected to play.

Chiefs RB Clyde Edwards-Helaire (illness) was added to the injury report Thursday after missing practice. Edwards-Helarie should be fine to play against the Broncos though an "illness" injury designation is somewhat alarming these days.

Eagles QB Jalen Hurts has been starting to get first-team reps at practice, ahead of Carson Wentz.

Fantasy Impact:

No word yet on if the Eagles will actually make the change yet, despite many fans and media calling for the benching of Wentz. It will be quite interesting over the next day or so, leading up to the Monday night tilt with the Seahawks. Pederson has taken a liking to Hurts in some packages this season and in some two-point plays. The Eagles need some kind of speak soon or heads could be rolling.

Chiefs WR Sammy Watkins (calf, hamstring) took full practice reps all week. Watkins will apparently return this week, throwing cold water on Mecole Hardman's Sneaky Start status. Watkins is a boom/bust WR4-type whenever he's healthy.

Bengals RB Giovani Bernard (concussion) did not practice Wednesday. Bernard is now in a race to get cleared by Sunday. Samaje Perine and Trayveon Williams would pick up the slack if Bernard can't play.

The team announced that wide receiver Byron Pringle has been placed on injured reserve. Pringle injured his ankle in last Sunday’s win over the Raiders.

Related players: Tyreek Hill, Sammy Watkins, Demarcus Robinson, Mecole Hardman.

Fantasy Impact:

Pringle had nine catches for 108 yards while appearing in all 10 games. He also returned seven kickoffs for 247 yards, including a 102-yard return for a touchdown in Week 7. It looked like he passed Hardman on the depth chart against the Raiders Sunday night. With Watkins still hurt, Robinson looks to run as the WR2 and Hardman could move up to the WR3 role.

Eagles coach Doug Pederson has been crystal clear that he will not bench starting quarterback Carson Wentz for rookie Jalen Hurts. But Hurts might start to get more snaps as a gadget player on offense.

“I think I can get him in the game a little bit more,” Pederson said.

Fantasy Impact:

Of course, Hurts only played one snap on Sunday against the Browns, so playing Hurts “a little bit more” wouldn’t necessarily mean giving him a significant role in the offense, the story pointed out. So far this season Hurts has 12 carries for 56 yards and one catch for three yards. He has yet to throw a pass. Hurts was a surprising second round pick by the team, so the QB controversy is real in Philly right now.

Fantasy Impact:

The story said Bryant's playing time seemed to come mostly at the expense of Duvernay, who played 23 fewer snaps than he did against the New England Patriots. Also worth noting, Brown’s slump continued, he played his lowest snap count since Week 4, the story added. Bryant finished with four receptions for 28 yards, including a 16-yard catch-and-run that led to a game-tying field goal on the team’s final drive of regulation.
