First-round pick Clyde Edwards-Helaire was at the forefront of the attack [Monday night]. He had 161 yards on 26 carries a few days after the Chiefs signed Le'Veon Bell to join him in the backfield. Monday’s outing showed why the Chiefs would likely be OK moving forward without Bell, but Edwards-Helaire sounded ready to welcome his new teammate with open arms.

“Talking to Le’Veon, he’s another piece to the puzzle,” Edwards-Helaire said, via Nate Taylor of TheAthletic.com. “From here, I just feel like we can only go up. Le’Veon is older than me. I’m still in my rookie year, so, ultimately, anything that I can do to pick his brain and gain any knowledge from him, I’m there for it.”

CEH is willing to learn from Bell. On Monday night, Fox's Jay Glazer reported the Chiefs didn't bring Bell in to be the starter, but instead to take some of the pounding away from the Chiefs rookie back, which seems to be good news for owners going forward.

Glazer said HC Andy Reid said Bell will take some of the reps from CEH and won't be the starter. It's potentially good news for CEH owners if it proves to be true. With CEH a smaller-sized back, the Chiefs seem like they are just trying to keep him healthy for the long road ahead.

Doug Pederson said today that he thinks the Eagles can do more with Jalen Hurts lining up at quarterback and running zone-read plays.

“It’s been successful for us. I can see things continuing this way,” Pederson said, via John Clark of NBCSportsPhiladelphia.com.

Hurts provided a spark for the offense in the first half when the team trailed 17-0 and couldn't even produce a first down. The Eagles are battling injuries at their skill positions so factoring in Hurts makes some sense. So far this season Hurts has thrown one pass for 18 yards, caught one pass for three yards, and run seven times for 49 yards.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have removed WRs Chris Godwin, Mike Evans, Scott Miller, and Justin Watson, RB LeSean McCoy, and TE Rob Gronkowski from their Week 6 injury report, according to Scott Smith of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Leonard Fournette (ankle) is officially questionable.

Tom Brady is almost guaranteed his entire offensive corps for Sunday's showdown against the Green Bay Packers. Godwin and Evans are locked in starters, Gronk is a borderline TE1, Miller and Watson are in the WR4/5 conversation, and McCoy should see increased snaps if Fournette is out.
