Vikings RB Dalvin Cook (chest) took full practice reps on Friday after being limited earlier in the week. He was removed from the injury report and should be a "full go" against the Lions. Alexander Mattison is still a Sneaky Start even with Cook active given the likelihood that Cook is either re-injured or the Vikings jump out to a lead and rest Cook in the second half.

Vikings RB Dalvin Cook (chest) took limited practice reps again Thursday. Cook intends to play and HC Mike Zimmer confirmed that he will. Zimmer added that he'll be "close to 100 percent," which is hard to believe. Alexander Mattison is a Sneaky Start even if Cook is active given the likelihood that Cook is either reinjured in Week 14 or the Vikings jump out to a lead and rest Cook in the second half.

Gardner Minshew II will start at quarterback for Jaguars against Los Angeles Chargers Sunday, HC Doug Marrone says.

Fantasy Impact:

The decision looked like it was trending that way after Marrone said he wanted to talk to both players before announcing his decision. Minshew threw a TD pass and the team showed a bit of a spark and energy after falling behind to the Bucs. Foles turned the ball over three times including two lost fumbles.

The Jaguars are 4-8 and set to play out the string over the final four weeks of the regular season regardless of who starts at quarterback.

That makes it less pressing to know the identity of that quarterback and head coach Doug Marrone said after Sunday’s loss to the Buccaneers that he’ll take his time before revealing the answer to that question. Nick Foles turned the ball over three times before being benched in favor of Gardner Minshew.

Fantasy Impact:

Marrone said he wants to do things "the right way" and added he wants to talk to both QBs before any announcement comes out because things are "emotional right now" and everyone is "really disappointed," according to the story.

So what exactly does Doug Marrone intend to do to get the Jaguars out of one of their all-time funks? He balked at the idea of going back to rookie quarterback Gardner Minshew, sticking by his earlier stance that Nick Foles would be the starter moving forward.

Fantasy Impact:

Foles is recently back from a shoulder injury after missing most of the season so it could be a timing issue. And, the Jags are paying Foles a lot of money which could also be a factor in this decision. Plus, the team may want to get more of a read on how Foles works with the rest of the offense to get a better idea for next year. Whatever the case, Foles looks to be under center the rest of the way at this point.

Doug Marrone announced on Tuesday that Nick Foles will be the team's starting quarterback in Week 11 against the Colts and rookie Gardner Minshew will return to being the backup.

Fantasy Impact:

Minshew wasn't great in a loss to the Texans in London on Sunday, and it may have left a lasting impression as he turned the ball over on three consecutive possessions in the final quarter, even though the game was pretty much over by that point. Foles was injured Week 1 with a broken collarbone but Marrone said the decision came down to experience, which was on Foles' side. The Jags play at the Colts in Week 11 after their Week 10 bye. Maybe the biggest question is will Foles have the chemistry with Chark, who broke out this season with Minshew throwing him the ball.
