Q: Jeff Wilson Jr. coming back for that RB1?

A: Interesting question. Guys that opened the season on injured reserve are eligible to come off now that they’ve been there four weeks. We’ll find out soon whether running back Wilson is close to being activated.

There’s no rush. Among Raheem Mostert, Devon Achane, Salvon Ahmed, Chris Brooks and fullback Alec Ingold, the Dolphins are OK for now.

The story added while there may not be a need for Wilson at the moment, the way RBs can get injured it will be nice to know if Wilson will at least be an option soon. The author added the bigger question is, "deciding how many touches Achane should get, and right now it appears he should get more than anyone else."

To this point in the season, Beckham has been on the field long enough to garner seven targets, while Bateman has season more playing time but only has nine. Dolphins WR Jaylen Waddle will fully practice today, per head coach Mike McDaniel. If all goes well, Waddle will clear the concussion protocol and be set to return Sunday vs. Bills.

The Dolphins don't have all their RBs healthy at the moment, with Wilson out and Ahmed also injured. The writer said Achane's performance means the team doesn't have to rush Ahmed back from a groin injury. Mostert needs his carries in this offense, the writer went on to say. Achane has emerged as a must-get-the-ball playmaker after his outburst. Wilson is eligible to return from injured reserve after the upcoming game at Buffalo. Ahmed seems like he could be the odd man out at this point as the story said Wilson could be used as a fullback over Alec Ingold in short yardage situations.

It's hard to see how Tyreek Hill could possibly have a higher target rate, but it's certainly in the cards for Sunday. Berrios and Cracraft are reasonable Flex plays in deep leagues, while Durham Smythe could get some scraps, making him a top-20ish TE.

No one figured Beckham was going to remain healthy throughout the season but certainly didn't take him long. Edwards should be an immediate upgrade in Week 3, and should be a high-floor, low-ceiling RB2.

Indeed. Now, it’s all Durham Smythe. He played all but two offensive snaps in Sunday’s win over the Patriots, after playing every single one in the opener.

As the story said, and we witnessed last year, McDaniel always seemed uncomfortable having to work in Mike Gesicki last year, when his blocking didn’t fit everything the coach wanted to do with the tight ends, especially with the outside-zone runs.

The story added Smythe has six receptions for 67 yards in two games this season. While those are fantasy stud numbers at the position, Smythe could be an option in deeper leagues, or as a TE2, with a hope for improvement.

After the game, coach John Harbaugh described it as minor, Rapoport said. He added his understanding is Beckham is managing the issue and if all goes well, it shouldn't affect his availability going forward. Flowers caught four balls for 62 yards and Bateman had a 3-18-0 line.

Most recent reports say Waddle is in concussion protocol. There was only a few moments left in the game as the Dolphins were trying to close things out against the Patriots. A tweet last night by Joe Schad, a Dolphins beat writer, said QB Tua Tagovailoa said Waddle was in good spirits after the game. The Dolphins have an early game in Week 3 at home against the Broncos.
