Michael Gallup would operate as the team's No. 1 option with Tavon Austin and Cedrick Wilson filling out the three-WR sets, assuming Randall Cobb is also out. Packers WR Marquez Valdes-Scantling (ankle, knee) did not practice Wednesday. MVS finished the game last week so we're expecting him to get at least a limited session on Friday and to play on Sunday.

Saints RB Alvin Kamara (ankle, knee) missed practice again Thursday. Kamara may be out this week. For now, we're assuming that he'll be active but limited. Latavius Murray gets a big bump if Kamara can't play, despite a not-great matchup against the Bears. The Bears have a great defense, but they haven’t been impenetrable. In their last three games, Chicago has given up 154 total yards and 1.3 touchdowns on 31.7 touches to opposing running backs.

Multiple receiving options for the Packers were unable to practice on Thursday, including Davante Adams (toe), Geronimo Allison (concussion/chest), Marquez Valdes-Scantling (ankle/knee), Jimmy Graham (ankle) and Robert Tonyan (hip).

Fantasy Impact:

At this point only Allen Lazard, Jake Kumerow, Darrius Shepherd, Marcedes Lewis and Ryan Grant, who was signed on Wednesday, are healthy. Friday's practice should clue us in on who, if any, of these injured players has a chance to play, but it looks like there will be some cheap DFS plays available and we will likely see a lot of Aaron Jones and Jamaal Williams.

Saints RB Alvin Kamara (ankle, knee) did not practice Wednesday. Kamara reportedly is dealing with some sort of high-ankle injury but believes that he has “a shot to play,” so if he’s out, it will probably only be for one week. The Saints signed Zach Zenner, which indicates that Kamara is likely to sit. If he’s out, look for Latavius Murray to see 16-20 touches as the Saints’ featured back.

Alvin Kamara didn't practice on Wednesday due to an ankle and knee injury.

Fantasy Impact:

The Saints signed Zach Zenner on Wednesday as insurance for Alvin Kamara and it was also reported that Kamara is dealing with a "high ankle-type issue," so there is some real doubt that he will play in Chicago in Week 7. Latavius Murray would become a valuable start with the bulk of the running back touches.

Zach Zenner signing with the Saints is more confirmation that Alvin Kamara is truly questionable to play this week in Chicago. If he can't go, Latavius Murray becomes startable in most leagues.

Saints RB Alvin Kamara is dealing with a high ankle-type issue that will limit him in practice this week, per sources. Kamara still thinks he has a shot to play Sunday against the Bears.

Fantasy Impact:

Alvin Kamara must not have a true high-ankle sprain or he wouldn't be able to practice, but he is also dealing with a knee injury according to Sean Payton. It seems like the prudent move would be to rest Kamara, but as usual, if he plays, you must start him. If he doesn't, Latavius Murray becomes a must-start, even in a tough matchup at Chicago.

Saints don't practice until Wednesday -- and I wouldn't be surprised to see RB Alvin Kamara limited early in the week after dealing with last week's ankle injury and tweaking his knee during the game.

Fantasy Impact:

Owners may want to have a backup plan in place early for Kamara. Triplett went on to say we probably won't know if he's in jeopardy of missing a game until Thursday or Friday but the Saints take on the Bears so the matchup isn't a great one. NBC Sports Chicago said Kamara played the least amount of snaps of any game this season in Week 6.
