Aaron Rodgers is back.

The Green Bay Packers quarterback posted on his Instagram page late Tuesday night that he's been cleared to return after breaking his right collarbone in a loss to the Minnesota Vikings in Week 6. Per NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport, he will start Sunday against the Carolina Panthers.

"It's been a long road from that day to this, but I'm happy to say I've been medically cleared to return," Rodgers wrote. "Thanks for all the love, support, prayers, and well wishes over the past 8 weeks and a big thank you to Dr McKenzie and our incredible training staff. #riseagain"

The story went on to say that Rapoport said one of the big factors in the decision was Rodgers' will to play, and how hard he worked to be back and ready by Week 15. Those of you who kept Rodgers or picked him up off the wire and stashed him could now be heavily rewarded in your fantasy playoffs. We have Rodgers ranked ninth among our QBs this week.

A day after Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers underwent the all-important first CT scan to determine how his fractured collarbone is healing, there is still no word on his status. Coach Mike McCarthy called it a medical decision on Monday and said the team is conferring with several experts. "I do not have a clean decision for you," he added.

The story said the decision is far more complex than simply saying the bone is healed. Rodgers has been impressive at practice and is pushing to play according to the story. However, there are those who are concerned about Rodgers' long-term health. Also, according to the story, the bone isn't fully healed, although the surgical procedure Rodgers chose accelerated the healing process and did work. A decision could come Wednesday.

With the Packers in the thick of the postseason hunt but currently on the outside looking in on a playoff berth (they're a game behind the No. 6-seeded Atlanta Falcons), Rodgers' return from his broken collarbone would be a major boost to their hopes down the stretch.

During his Monday media availability, Packers coach Mike McCarthy was non-committal on the subject of Rodgers' potential return. He repeatedly stated that it was a "medical decision" that would be made by doctors at some point, but declined to give a timeline. "At this time, I do not have a clear decision for you, or an update," he said. "That's where it stands."

It seems like if it was up to Rodgers, he'd play, but the story said the decision will be up to Dr. Patrick McKenzie and not Rodgers or the coaching staff. Rodgers underwent more tests and scans and is still being evaluated.

Sean McDermott reiterates that Tyrod Taylor is the starting quarterback for the Bills when healthy.

The tweet added that McDermott said the decision to keep Taylor inactive was "mostly" based on how he he was feeling. Peterman is now in concussion protocol, so it looks like Taylor could get the Week 15 start against Miami.

Peterman took a big hit sliding head-first on a snowy field in Buffalo and was obviously jolted from the hit with what very well could be a concussion. With Taylor already out, Webb will take over at QB.

While it's certainly good news, Taylor's status is up in the air for Week 14 and beyond. The good news is the Bills play an early afternoon game at home against the Colts.
