Titans TE Scaife expected to play W2

Titans tight end Bo Scaife isn’t expected to be sidelined long after an MRI on his left knee came back with good results, Coach Jeff Fisher said on Friday.

Scaife suffered a left knee injury in the third quarter of Thursday’s 13-10 overtime loss to the Steelers. He was walking the hallways at Baptist Sports Park gingerly on Friday, but without crutches.

“He doesn’t have an awful lot of swelling and we’ll list him as day to day right now,’’ Fisher said. “We’ll just see how he is.’’

Fisher expressed optimism about Scaife’s chances of playing in the next game, on Sept. 20 against the Texans at LP Field.
