WR Hakeem Nicks leaves game with foot sprain

Rookie WR Hakeem Nicks was carted off the field during the fourth quarter of the Giants' season opener against the Redskins. Washington LB London Fletcher appeared to land on Nicks' left leg after a 7-yard catch.

The Giants announced Nicks has a foot sprain and his X-rays are negative.
