Eagles and Commanders Battle for NFC
We get an NFC East showdown in the NFC Championship Game as the Eagles host the Commanders on Sunday, January 26 at 3 pm ET. The Eagles are favored (-5) and the game is being televised on FOX. The Commanders shocked the Lions in the Divisional Playoffs 45-31 behind 2 touchdown passes from Jayden Daniels and 2 rushing from Brian Robinson Jr. The Commanders forced 5 turnovers in the win to reach the NFC Title game for the first time since 1991. That season, they beat the Buffalo Bills 37-24 in the Super Bowl.
The Eagles held off the Rams 28-22 thanks to 205 rushing yards and 2 electric touchdowns from Saquon Barkley. He scored on a 62-yard TD in the first quarter to give the Eagles a 13-7 lead before ripping off a 78-yard touchdown with 4:36 left in the game to extend Philly's lead to 28-15. Barkley has been unstoppable this season and will be hard for Washington to stop next week.

Chiefs, Bills in AFC Title Game
Are we really that surprised? Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs are in the AFC Championship Game for the 7th straight year. The Chiefs have won the last two Super Bowls as well as three in the last five seasons. Patrick Mahomes threw for 177 yards and a touchdown in the 23-14 win over the Texans while Travis Kelce looked elite as he caught 7 passes for 117 yards with a TD.
The Chiefs get the Bills in an epic matchup in the AFC that follows the Eagles-Commanders matchup with kickoff set for 6:30 pm ET. The game is on CBS and can be streamed on Paramount+. The Bills held off the Ravens 27-25 in a wild contest in which Mark Andrews dropped the game-tying two-point conversion attempt in the end zone. Josh Allen and the Bills are back in the AFC Championship Game for the first time since 2020 when they lost 38-24 to the Chiefs.
Super Bowl LIX Set for Feb. 9
The winners of the AFC and NFC Title Games next weekend will be playing in Super Bowl 59. The game is set for Sunday, February 9, and will be played at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans. Will the Chiefs be there and looking for a three-peat? Regardless, it should be a wild ride.
