ThNF: Freeney will play, Mathis a game-time

Indianapolis Colts DE Dwight Freeney will play against the Jacksonville Jaguars on Thursday night despite missing practice the last two days, reports NFL Network insider Michael Lombardi. The Colts’ other defensive end, Robert Mathis, will be a game-time decision.

Freeney, one of 29 Colts on yesterday’s injury report, was officially listed as questionable with an abdomen injury that has bothered him for several weeks. He’s missed one game this season, the Week 12 win over the Texans.

Mathis was also held out of practice the last two days with a quad injury. He was listed as questionable.

The Colts had already ruled out CB Jerraud Powers (hamstring) and RB Donald Brown (chest).
