The San Francisco 49ers lost another starter for the remainder of the regular season.
Running back Carlos Hyde suffered a serious MCL sprain that will knock him out of the Week 17 tilt versus the Seattle Seahawks, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported per a source informed of the situation.
Fantasy Impact:
Hyde was hit on his left leg in Saturday's win over the Los Angeles Rams. The 26-year-old back walked off under his own power, but didn't return to the contest. He was hoping the injury wasn't serious so he could play Week 17 but serious or not, there isn't much of a reason for the team to rush it's star RB back to the field.
