Lions beat: QB Matthew Stafford 'shredding' D with no-huddle

The Lions have gone no huddle on 38.4 percent of their plays this season, more than anyone else in the league. Stafford is 25 of 32 passing for 165 yards, three touchdowns and no interceptions when Detroit goes without a huddle this season. They only got away from it last year because all the injuries forced them to roll with younger players who weren't proficient enough in the scheme to pull it off.

Fantasy Impact:

If this is the case, then Stafford's fantasy arrow will continue to point up. The knock on him this season was that Detroit would continue to be more of a ball control offense like last season. For Week 3, Stafford is projected in Vegas to be in a shootout at home with the Falcons. He's a solid QB1 this week, and if the no-huddle continues, it's hard to see him not finishing as a top-12 QB for the 5th time in six years.
