Report: Steelers WR Martavis Bryant requested trade

The Pittsburgh Steelers are coming off their most comprehensive victory of the season, but one of their top receivers still wants out.

Martavis Bryant recently requested a trade from the AFC North leaders, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported late Sunday, per sources informed of Bryant's request. Rapoport noted that Bryant's teammates and coaches are well aware that the receiver is unhappy.

Fantasy Impact:

As the story said, the team stuck with Bryant through suspensions, so it's a bit of a surprise he wants out, although QB Ben Roethlisberger did criticize Bryant during that time. Bryant did tweet Sunday he's "happy to be a Steeler." Fantasy-wise, he's mostly been a boom or bust player with big-play potential, and this season, so far, it's mostly been bust as he tries to get back up to speed after being suspended all of last season. The Steelers have until the Oct. 31 trade deadline to make a move.
