Jenna Laine of ESPN.com uncovered some intriguing stats in regards to new Bucs starting QB Ryan Fitzpatrick. Since 2010, when targeting tight ends, Fitzpatrick's touchdown to interception ratio is 4.40. When he targets any other position that ratio drops to 1.38. Laine also highlighted the fact that Fitzpatrick was 4-for-4 when targeting Cameron Brate against the Cardinals earlier this season.
Brate and the rest of the Bucs tight ends have a fantastic matchup versus the Jets this week. According to our aFPA metric, Bucs TEs have the third-best matchup of the week. We have Brate ranked as a top-10 TE in all formats, while O.J. Howard is a top-20 TE in standard leagues. If Fitzpatrick's career numbers are any indication, Brate could be in for a big game this week and Howard is on the TE streaming map.
