Brown releasing WR Kenny Britt

The Browns brought on John Dorsey as the team's new general manager today and he's already making moves, letting Britt go. Britt was a big-name free agent signing this offseason and was going to replace Terrelle Pryor in the offense as the team's top receiver. That didn't happen though.

In nine games this season, Britt caught 18 passes for 233 yards and 2 TDs—a disappointment following his 1,002-yard season from a year ago. It's expected Britt will clear waivers, at which point he'll be free to sign with another team.
