The Top DFS Stacks on FanDuel and DraftKings in Week 15
Here I’ll be diving into stacks that mainly involve the week’s highest over/unders. For starters, I’ll lead with my favorite game stack from the highest implied over/under game, followed by analyzing the next three games with the highest totals on the slate, and then a low-owned stack.
Top Stacks From Games With High Vegas Totals
Patriots (28) @ Steelers (25) — 53 Over/Under
Ben Roethlisberger ($8,000/$6,700) + Le’Veon Bell ($9,400/$9,300)
If you’re targeting this game, it makes the most sense to look at Roethlisberger over Tom Brady and stacking him with Le’Veon Bell. The Patriots will be on the road on a short week and Brady is the slate's highest-priced quarterback, which could force you into suboptimal plays.
Roethlisberger has topped 28 or more fantasy points in three of his last four starts and draws a Patriots defense that ranks 15th in quarterback aFPA, though it should be mentioned it has held opponents to 17 or fewer points in eight of its last nine games. That said, New England haven’t squared off against many teams with the type of weapons that the Steelers have.
You could argue stacking Roethlisberger with Antonio Brown, but I’d rather gain access to 100 percent of Pittsburgh's offensive touchdowns while also securing the benefit from the possibility of Roethlisberger throwing a touchdown to Bell, considering Bell is averaging 8.3 targets per game and has now caught a touchdown pass in back-to-back weeks. JuJu Smith-Schuster will also return and may siphon off some target share from the wide receivers, as he has averaged 7.3 targets per game over his last four games. Typically, when forced to choose between Bell and Brown, I’ll side with Bell because you can lock in 25-plus touches.
