Contra Costa Times: Raiders coach Tom Cable said Ronald Curry will
start at flanker for the Raiders, with rookie Chaz Schilens
limited again by an ankle sprain. "That's news to me, but I know
I'll play a lot, " Curry said. "Another chance to go out there and
prove to people I can still play." Regardless of how it happened
and who feels slighted, having Curry on the field is a no-brainer
for at team with an anemic passing game and quarterback in his
developing stages. After catching three passes for 76 yards
against Baltimore, Schilens does not have a catch in his last
three games. If healthy, Schilens was to return to the starting
lineup, Cable said Monday.
