10 ADP Risers & Fallers After Preseason Week 2
Finding any edge when it comes to which players to draft is something all fantasy managers are after. One of the most popular measurable ways to track player rankings and how each player is being perceived is by their Average Draft Position (ADP).
As we move closer to redraft league frenzy season, when the majority of your home or friends and family drafts take place, analyzing BB10 ADP from week-to-week during the preseason is helpful to gather an overall impression of where players are being drafted. Drafters of BB10 best-ball leagues tend to be sharper than your average fantasy football participant, so you may find players will slip a bit further in some leagues than others.
In other words, ADP data is very useful but is not everything, so don’t ride or die with it.
In this piece, I’ll take a look at some of the biggest risers and fallers from the second week of the preseason, comparing their ADP from the week ending August 12th to the week ending August 19th and how you should approach them moving forward. A player’s ADP can change for a plethora of reasons and diving into the cause of that movement can certainly help come draft time.

Biggest Fallers
Phillip Dorsett – WR, Patriots (-47 overall ADP)
Dorsett was brought back to New England on a one-year deal to most likely work in three-WR sets along with Julian Edelman and rookie N’Keal Harry.
Not only has he not been playing due to a thumb issue, but Gordon’s reinstatement has sent Dorsett’s volume hopes, along with his ADP, crashing down. His went from a 20th-round stab to off the draft board this week.
Andre Ellington – RB, Buccaneers (-29 overall ADP)
New Bucs HC Bruce Arians praised Ellington’s speed and route running sometime in July, which propelled the 30-year old onto the fantasy radar for 2019. Sure, Arians drafted Ellington initially in 2013, but the guy was basically out of the NFL last season, and it’s tough to think he’ll be relevant for fantasy purposes in that pass-heavy offense.
With Dare Ogunbowale running with the first team this preseason, it seems he’s passed Ellington for that third spot on the RB depth chart behind Peyton Barber and Ronald Jones.
Jerick McKinnon - RB, 49ers ( -22 overall ADP)
