FanDuel Week 7 Slate Breakdown with Cash and GPP Picks

In this space each week, I give my overall FanDuel cash game and tournament strategy thoughts and discuss how players fit into these strategies. By offering a general approach to the week, along with a player pool to consider, you should walk away feeling well-equipped no matter your bankroll strategy or game selection process. For those new to 4for4, we use a proprietary value metric to determine the best values across all positions, rather than the flawed raw point-per-dollar value you usually find across the industry. An extension of our value metric and projections is our GPP Leverage Score, a single value that drives our decisions on which players we can be most confident using in GPPs as it relates to their expected ownership in large-field tournaments.

Main Slate Cash Game Strategy

Quarterback

With a lot of reasonable values at the pass-catching positions and the “smash spots” coming at running back this week, the second tier of quarterback pricing is the sweet spot for cash games this week—the top three values at the position are priced between $7,700 and $7,900. Topping that list is Josh Allen ($7,700). It’ s no secret at this point that targeting the Dolphins with your fantasy players is a profitable move, especially through the air. Miami ranks last in virtually every metric or stat against quarterbacks and Buffalo is favored by 16.6 at home with the second-highest implied point total of the week (28.5). Allen’s 32 rushing yards per game give him a floor to fall back on in case touchdown variance doesn’t go his way before the expected blowout is in full effect.
