Trader's Alley: Week 11 Buy Low, Sell High, and Hold
Not to make you panic, but we’re running out of time to make fantasy trades (and for you to read this column!). This column will cease to exist after Week 12, which is when most trading deadlines hit in fantasy leagues. That means we need to make the most of our remaining time together. Hopefully, these recommendations below can help push you into the fantasy playoffs.
Below are my Buy Low, Sell High, and Hold recommendations heading into Week 11. As always, don’t forget to use the 4for4 Trade Evaluator to try and mine even more value out of your moves. And remember, these recommendations aren’t meant to be end-all, be-all decisions on players. I’m simply trying to highlight players who could help you come out ahead in fantasy trades.
Buy Low
WR – Davante Adams, Green Bay Packers
This feels like cheating a bit since Adams looked fully healthy last week when he caught seven of 10 targets for 118 yards against the Panthers. However, Adams is on his bye in Week 11 and will face the 49ers in Week 12, so it’s possible he’s still flying under the radar a bit after missing so much time with turf toe. Adams has commanded a near 33% share of Green Bay’s targets in his first two games back, and has still yet to score a touchdown this season.
After the 49ers, Adams gets cake matchups against the Giants and Redskins, before closing out the season against every divisional opponent (Bears, Vikings, Lions). It might be hard to pry Adams away from his current owner, but it’s at least worth probing. Adams could set the fantasy world on fire down the stretch as Green Bay pushes for a first-round bye.
