Quarterback Matt Hasselbeck didn't participate in the Seahawks' scrimmage at Husky Stadium on Sunday due to a sore hamstring, but should be ready to return to practice by Tuesday, according to coach Pete Carroll.
Hasselbeck sat out most of Saturday's two practices as well, with the Seahawks saying at that time he just was taking time off to rest.
But it turns out the veteran quarterback tweaked his hamstring while running out of the pocket during Thursday's workout.
"He was dying to go today, but we'll give him today and tomorrow and he'll be ready to go when we come back Tuesday," said Carroll, whose full team has Monday off before returning to camp.
"He took off the other day at practice and tried to outrun everybody," Carroll said. "That was it. I said tried. He did outrun everybody. I'll hear it from him. He did turn the corner pretty good, but he pulled up lame. So he's not going to do too much of that."
