According to NFL.com, head coach Matt Patricia stated that Detroit Lions wide receiver Kenny Golladay is making progress, but is not yet ready to return to practice.
The hope is that Golladay will be able to get in a limited session on Friday before suiting up against Green Bay on Sunday, but the word progress suggests that even if he cannot return this week, that he may be able to take the field in Week 3. At this point of his career, Golladay probably does not need to practice to be active on Sunday, but the Lions will likely err on the side of caution with their top receiver. With his status uncertain, Golladay is not currently in our wide receiver rankings for Week 2.
