Minneapolis Star Tribune: A day after limiting Bernard Berrian
because of a knee injury, the Vikings decided to have the receiver
not do any work in practice this afternoon. The session is going
on right now and Berrian was wearing a ski cap as he watched his
teammates. Berrian hurt his knee in practice last Thursday but was
able to play against the Saints on Monday night and caught six
passes for 110 yards and a touchdown. Berrian also has been
bothered by a sore big toe on his right foot this season and it's
likely the Vikings think it would be best to limit his practice
reps. The only other player who was sitting out was linebacker
Erin Henderson, who suffered a concussion on Monday. Henderson
said he did not suffer the injury on the monster hit he took on a
Saints punt return and instead said he was injured earlier. He did
not inform the coaching staff that he had a headache, however, and
that's why he wasn't taken out.
