Sunday Night DFS Single Game Breakdown: Seahawks at Steelers
Geno Smith takes on Ben Roethlisberger in a Sunday Night showdown that I wish they would have flexed out on Thursday. For showdown purposes, figuring out which of the Seahawks players to be keying in on will be the point of emphasis because, without Russell Wilson and Chris Carson, there is a lot of change to the offense. The Steelers are dealing with a big injury as well—JuJu Smith-Schuster is out for the season, and in the previous two missed games for Diontae Johnson and Chase Claypool, we saw James Washington run over 78% of the routes.
Through the season, there have been some interesting stats that could be a continued trend. The Steelers have yet to allow a running back to score over 15 points in either scoring format. On FanDuel, the Steelers have yet to allow any player to score over 25 points, while Derek Carr, Courtland Sutton, and Henry Ruggs snuck over the 25 point mark because of the 300 yards bonus and the full point per reception difference on DraftKings. On DraftKings, the Seahawks have allowed five different wide receivers to score over 20 points which is tied for the most in the NFL. Additionally, on FanDuel, the Seahawks are one of the two teams that have given up over 30 points to a flex player.

Over/Under: 42.5
Seahawks Implied Total: 18.5
Steelers Implied Total: 24
These teams aren't expected to be scoring a lot of points in this one, which makes for an interesting showdown slate, and I wouldn't be afraid of leaving salary on the table because of this.
