Lions Burleson could only miss one week

According to a source close to the situation, Detroit Lions receiver Nate Burleson might only miss one game with a high ankle sprain. Burleson won't play on Sunday against the Vikings, but there's a high likelihood that Burleson will be on the practice field next Wednesday.

First reports were that Burleson could miss three or four weeks but his condition improved on Monday and it was upgraded to two to three weeks. While Burleson was playing coy with the media on Monday and saying he might return this week, receiver Stefan Logan unwittingly told a reporter about Burleson's status.
