Jets WR Corey Davis ruled out for Week 9

Jets head coach Robert Saleh told reporters that WR Corey Davis (MCL) is out this week but will be back after the bye.

Fantasy Impact:

Davis has spent most of his time lined up wide, which has cleared the way for former second-round pick Denzel Mims to see the field for the first time this season. It doesn't warrant fantasy consideration in redraft leagues, but maybe stash Mims in deep dynasty leagues if he's found his way into the free-agent pool. Garrett Wilson is the only player we want to start out of this group in Week 9 against a tough Buffalo matchup.

Per Bears head coach Matt Eberflus: Ryan Bates remains in the concussion protocol. Elijah Hicks (ankle) and D'Andre Swift (groin) won't practice.

Teven Jenkins will be limited.

This is definitely a situation to keep an eye on, as Johnson would have a huge workload if Swift were to miss Week 12. Homer has three rush attempts and zero targets on the year.
