Fantasy Football Waiver Wire Watch Week 15: There's Moore Where That Came From
As a refresher, The Drop List consists of players who are rostered in at least 50% of Yahoo leagues and are no longer must-have assets, recommended additions are available in over 50% of Yahoo leagues, the Watch List contains in-depth notes on fringe waiver adds, and Deep Cuts includes player notes on those rostered in 5% or fewer of Yahoo and FFPC leagues.
The Drop List
The fantasy playoffs are prime for parting ways with basically any player who won’t cut it in your starting lineup this week or, more reasonably, those who have to jump multiple hoops for a direct opportunity. You should look to prioritize winning in Week 15 — even if that means cutting a tried and true FLEX play for a stronger streaming option — then avert your focus to stashing any and all high-upside league winners. High-ankle sprains, for example, make both Deebo Samuel and Dameon Pierce easy candidates to part with since neither is expected to make a miraculous return prior to Week 18. The same goes for Curtis Samuel, who we would never start in an offense that averaged 28.5 passes with Taylor Heinicke before overtime allowed him to sneak in 41 attempts across 70 minutes. Michael Carter on the other hand is someone we should try and hold tightly, though circumstances could force a desperate roster to part with him (allowing a more flexible and top-heavy team to unfortunately swoop in and pick him up). This is also the time of the year when stashing defenses isn't a crime since the primary goal is to win every matchup over the next 3-4 weeks.
