Last week, the NFL once again proved that it is far more unpredictable than many fantasy managers would care to admit. While the last two remaining unbeaten teams (Eagles and 49ers) got their first taste of defeat heavily due to faulty field goal kickers, many other potent offenses also face-planted, as the Kansas City Chiefs, Buffalo Bills, and Los Angeles Chargers combined for 50 combined points on the scoreboard.

The Panthers, Texans, Titans, Jets, Cowboys, and Bengals are all on bye this week, which severely impacts the waiver wire, as three locked-in starting options are now getting their yearly breather. Let’s dig into our options for what may turn out to be a difficult fantasy week.

Week 6 Recap

Minshew Mania did indeed run wild in Week 6 as the Indianapolis Colts led the league with their 77.3% pass rate while running a no-huddle offense on 21.3% of their snaps (second-highest). Did Gardner Minshew look incredible? His three interceptions may say otherwise, but his 300+ yards helped boost him over those gaffes in leagues with a passing yardage bonus. Thankfully, Joshua Dobbs continued to rely on his legs while accruing 47 rushing yards on seven attempts to help us avoid what would have been a miserable fantasy day.
