Sources: Titans WR DeAndre Hopkins is being traded to the Chiefs in exchange for a 5th rounder that can get to a fourth rounder. Deal is being finalized.

A key veteran who could be the final piece, Hopkins name has been hot in the trade market. Now, he lands with the champs.

Fantasy Impact:

Even with the un-serious looking Chiefs wide receiver room over the last few weeks, they have remained undefeated. Though Patrick Mahomes has been trending toward the worst statistical performance of his career, it's hard to see why the fans/team would care if they just glide to the Super Bowl again.

This is an obvious boost for Mahomes' fantasy aspirations and puts Hopkins back on the WR2 radar in good matchups. This is also a boost to Calvin Ridley, but his ceiling is still extremely capped with poor quarterback play in a terrible offensive environment.

Fantasy Impact:

This is great news for fantasy as Winston is an immediate upgrade to the QB position, and we know he will sling the ball around the yard. While this doesn't put him in startable territory, it does boost the floor of David Njoku, Jerry Jeudy, Elijah Moore, and Cedric Tillman.

Panthers QB Andy Dalton was involved in a automobile accident today in Charlotte, according to a team spokesperson.

Fantasy Impact:

He was traveling with his wife, three children and dog. No one was transported by emergency medic personnel, but Dalton is being evaluated by team medical personnel, the post went on to say. Obviously we all hope it's not a serious situation, but from a fantasy angle, if Dalton can't play Young would get the start at QB.

49ers WR Deebo Samuel (illness) out of hospital

According to multiple reports, Deebo Samuel has been discharged from the hospital. Samuel left Sunday’s loss to the Chiefs with an illness and went to the hospital later that night.

Fantasy Impact:

Head coach Kyle Shanahan said that Samuel had fluid in his lungs and described his condition as pneumonia. Shanahan said that the team will see how Samuel recovers over the coming days, but owners should probably have other plans in place, especially because the Niners are at home against the Cowboys on Sunday night.
