Fantasy Football Week 15 Recap: 15 Things You Need To Know
It was the moment we had all been waiting for, the reason we play the game: the fantasy football playoffs are underway in most leagues. We all spent Sunday celebrating and rubbing our fists over the performances of our superstars in this imaginary game we love. Mark Andrews became the Ravens’ all-time touchdown leader when he caught his 48th score. Offensive tackle, Dan Skipper, caught a nine-yard touchdown on a pass he had to run with for seven yards before he crossed the goal line. It was a wonderful moment for those who celebrate the fat guy touchdowns. In our topsy-turvy fantasy world, the playoffs continued the absurdity. Come on, let’s go chase down the day.
Top Players
Lamar Jackson lost a fumble on the Ravens’ opening drive. However, that was the only mistake he made Sunday. The rest of the day was nothing but gravy. Jackson completed 13 of 14 attempts, amassing 162 passing yards and three touchdowns. Then we reached halftime. By the end of the game, Jackson had five touchdown tosses. It was the sixth time in his career that he has reached that total. Jackson had 290 yards through the air and another 65 on six rushes.
Lamar Jackson did something today no QB in NFL history had ever done.
He hit all these minimums: 80% completion pct., 250 passing yards, 5 passing TDs, 0 INTs, 50 rushing yards.

Davante Adams was a revitalized player this Sunday. The veteran wide receiver had the second-highest yardage total of his career when he compiled 198 yards and had a pair of receiving scores in a Jets’ win against Jacksonville. It was the 24th multi-touchdown game of his illustrious career.
Josh Allen delivered for fantasy managers in the playoffs. In an old-school shootout, Allen dialed up two passing scores and threw for 362 yards. He also found the end zone on the ground two times while compiling 68 rushing yards. It was a do-it-all day for the do-it-all quarterback.
Jared Goff had a day for the ages. The prolific pigskin hurler totaled nearly 500 yards passing on 59 attempts. In a game that Detroit trailed from the early moments, Goff hucked it and chucked it, finding five different teammates for touchdowns.
Mike Evans did it again. The coldest receiver in the NFL posted his 24th career multi-touchdown game on Sunday. He did not just rip down two tuddies, he grabbed 159 yards of receiving work on nine catches. While it looks improbable for him to have his 11th consecutive 1,000+ yard season, do not count this dude out.
James Conner is a monster. Coming off his highest career total in scrimmage yards, he is set to top it once again. He needs just 19 yards to reach a new career plateau in his seventh year. On Sunday, he scampered for 110 yards and a pair of rushing scores, while catching all five of his passing targets for an additional 28 yards.
Pop Players
Brian Thomas Jr. scored two touchdowns for the Jaguars. The rookie set a career-high with 10 catches while collecting 105 yards through the air. Thomas has seen 36 targets over the last three games.

Malik Nabers’ fourth-quarter touchdown, after eight straight games without one, electrified the home crowd. It represented the Giants’ first passing touchdown since early November when Daniel Jones, who is no longer on the team, tossed one. This was Nabers’ record-tying fourth game with at least 10 catches in his rookie season.
Jerome Ford excelled in the Cleveland loss to Kansas City. Nick Chubb went down with a foot injury, but Ford was explosive from the jump. He took seven carries for 84 yards, including a 62-yard touchdown run to record the Browns’ lone score on the day. Ford also caught two targets for 20 yards.
Flop Players
Najee Harris disappointed fantasy managers in Week 15, with 14 rushing yards and a single catch for seven yards. If you needed him to advance, well, you did not advance. I am so sorry.
Cade Otton deflated the balloon of those who thought they found a solution at tight end. Otton was not the answer this week securing just two balls for 24 yards.
Drop? Players
Jaylen Waddle went to the medical tent in the second quarter. His teammates appeared concerned on the sideline following his apparent knee injury.

Alvin Kamara was spotted walking to the locker room in the fourth quarter. He did not return after sustaining a groin injury.
Nick Chubb suffered a foot injury during Cleveland’s loss to the Chiefs. He was ruled out later in the second half.
Patrick Mahomes suffered an ankle injury in the fourth quarter of the Chiefs’ win on Sunday. He was later seen on a cart in the stadium.
