Week 16 Best Bets on Rebet: Jake's Best Bets

Every week I’ll be posting a few of my favorite plays in this article with brief write-ups of each play. I’ll use this space up top to recap the previous week and share any thoughts or takeaways I have going forward.

Week 15 Recap: 3-2, +$50 (assuming $100 units)

Overall: 31-23, +$438 (assuming $100 units)

Week 15 was a solid bounce back, going 3-2. Two of the three wins (Robinson over 6.5 receiving yards and Downs under 53.5 receiving yards) were sweat-free. Herbert was a sweat as the Chargers were incompetent offensively against one of the league’s worst pass defenses (TB), but we still got there. The two losses were Jameis over 34.5 pass attempts and C.J. Stroud over 32.5 pass attempts. In hindsight, I probably should have seen a potential benching of Jameis coming and should have stayed away from any over there. Anyways, it feels good to book a winning week and now onto Week 16…

Week 16 NFL Best Bets

Stone Smartt UNDER 3.5 receptions (-118) Prop City - WIN

Released in Discord on 12/19. Per Ian Rapoport, the Chargers are planning on activating Hayden Hurst from IR to play tonight. Hurst may be on a snap count tonight but practiced fully every day this week, so I am expecting him to be out there, which will definitely cut into Smartt's snap count and route participation.

Brandin Cooks OVER 24.5 Receiving Yards (-106) Prop City

Released in Discord on 12/19. Brandin Cooks appears to be fully healthy as he out-routed Tolbert 28-15 last week. Cooks gets a really good matchup against one of the worst pass defenses in the league. I am also playing some alts on Cooks here up to 50+ receiving yards

Malik Washington UNDER 3.5 Receptions (-118) Prop City

Released in Discord on 12/20. Jaylen Waddle is out for the Dolphins but I really think we are going to see targets condense to Tyreek, Jonnu, and Achane here. We could see this WR2 role split between Washington and Cracraft, so 3.5 is a bit too high for Washington here.

Chase Brown UNDER 4.5 Receptions (-109) Prop City

Released in Discord on 12/20. Chase Brown has been an animal in every facet for the Bengals since taking over for Zack Moss. But in a game where the Bengals are 7+ point home favorites, we should not see as much of Brown in the pass game, and instead, see him featured as a bellcow RB in the run game.
