Tampa Trbune: The Bucs have until Wednesday to make a decision on
whether to activate RB Cadillac Williams, but it seems the
decision has already been made. Williams has responded well to
the contact drills the Bucs put him through the past couple weeks
and it seems he will be added to the 53-man roster Wednesday.
"It's almost like Christmas is here and Christmas is Wednesday,"
Bucs HC Gruden said. "If my eyes don't deceive me, I think he's
got a chance to be a player this year for our team." Williams
agrees. He said he felt fine running through the contact drills
the past couple weeks and is "good to go." The timing couldn't be
better. The Bucs are a little banged up in the backfield, with
Warrick Dunn (back) and Earnest Graham (knee) both ailing. Dunn
and Graham should be ready to go by Sunday's game against the
Vikings, though, which means Williams probably will be eased back
into action.
