New Patriots Chad Ochocinco and Albert Haynesworth might not be long for New England.
One NFL executive familiar with the Patriots ways believes one or both of the big name acquisitions will be cut before the season starts. The front office man thinks coach Bill Belichick will use the controversial players to help control and send a message to his locker room.
Haynesworth would seem to be the better bet of the two, as he's more of a legitimate troublemaker while Ochocinco is merely an attention-seeking showboat. This report is more speculation than anything else, but with Ochocinco potentially set up for a revival in New England, fantasy owners need to take into account that the Patriots will have him on a much shorter leash than Cincinnati did. He still carries more risks than other receivers.
