Lions RB Jahvid Best got back on the field for the Lions' practice on Wednesday, during which the players were dressed in helmets and shorts, but no pads.
Detroit's second-year running back was held out of three straight practices as he recovered from concussion-like symptoms.
"He had fresh legs," head coach Jim Schwartz said. "He passed all his stuff. I know we have no real major concerns that he wouldn't pass, but we were able to get him out. It was a non-contact practice today so we were able to get him out and running around, and he looked good."
