Lions rookie receiver Titus Young battled a hamstring injury most of training camp, but offensive coordinator Scott Linehan said the second-round pick from Boise State is ready.

Young saw his most extensive playing time in the last exhibition at Buffalo. He played about 30 snaps and caught two of five passes thrown his way for 17 yards.

"He's behind a little bit because he missed all that time, but I think he's made a lot of strides just in the last two weeks," Linehan said. "He hasn't been full speed until maybe the day before we played the Buffalo game. I don't know if he was 100% then, but he was getting close. Timing's good, though, that he was able to get a good week-and-a-half of full-speed work. He's ready to go."
