Palm Beach Post: During the Dolphin's bye, QB Chad Henne got
plenty of chances. Coaches gave Henne the bulk of the repetitions
to aid his development. "I think the bye week helped us a bunch to
keep him sharp," coach Tony Sparano said. "Some people say, 'Well
do you like the bye where it was one way or the other?' That
helped us there. "That helps us with a young quarterback to get
him more reps early in the season." The Dolphins never know when
they'll need Henne. Pennington, 32, has played 16 games only once
in his previous eight seasons and had been so-so in two losses
before going 17-of-20 at New England. "Chad's been doing well and
I'm going to keep learning from him," Henne said. "He keeps doing
well, they're obviously going to play him."
